Craigslist Fayetteville

Some of you may not know this, but there are 2 Craigslist Fayetteville websites. One is located in North Carolina and the other is located in Fayetteville Arkansas. Until I started looking up the search terms on Google, I had no idea there were 2 towns that both shared the Fayetteville name.

The Fayetteville NC Craigslist website gets way more traffic than does the Fayetteville AR website and that is mainly because of the difference in population between the 2 cities. For instance, Fayetteville Arkansas has a population of 73,580 while the much larger Fayette North Carolina has a population of 200,564. While that is only a population difference of around 130,000 people it sure makes a difference in the amount of Craigslist traffic one site gets over the other.

And a lot more people also post ads on the NC website instead of the website for Arkansas. For example, in the Craigslist cars and trucks section of the Fayetteville AR Craigslist site there are 132 automobile classifieds posted as of the time of this post. While on the Craigslist Fayetteville NC cars and trucks section boasts some 361 auto ads, quite a big difference. I guess that just about fits the population to the number of ads on the site. In fact the ratio of population to ads on the Craigslist auto section in both Fayetteville websites is almost exactly the same.

No mater where you are, chopping on Craigslist helps you find all kinds of bargains and deals that you probably won’t find in other places because when individuals sell their own stuff they don’t have to pay the high cost of overhead that business do. So Craigslist classifieds is actually good for the economy. And of course, it is always free to post your ads for anything you want to sell from around your house. And I’m sure lots of people are going to get presents this Christmas from people that found them on the site.
